Wow, how'd you find the third one? Nice catch. And yes, academic presses are always strapped for money, so I think you're right that they're more apt to rely on stock photos. I just happened to run across the first two within a page of each other on a website that discounts academic books.

That's unfortunate! I found the third by getting the name of the photographer and then doing an Amazon search on that name.
