In an ideal world, I'd put all of the covers to the fifth and final Penguin Great Ideas series up in one post, but they're leaking out one by one, so that's the way they're being posted here. Here's a great (and funny) essay by George Eliot.
Other covers in this series are found here and here.
I'm also intrigued by these three upcoming Penguin Classics covers, as I don't know who did them, and I like them.

I expect the Victorian Crime design was made by the same designer who did their Gaslight Crime volume; they have a very similar style. (And I can't wait to get this one!)
That would make sense, in which case it would be Jaya Miceli. I'm with you on looking forward to this book: I love the way that the Classics people have recently been admitting various forms of pulp, crime and dime novels into their series.
LOVE the George Elliot cover. Also love the Irish Verse one. These are super rad!
