Floc'h!

Floc'h is the rather unlikely name under which French comics artist and designer Jean-Claude Floch trades. His style has a crisp, clean feel not a million miles removed from Hergé (creator of Tintin). Among his numerous comics, editorial illustrations and movie posters, he has also found the time to do a number of book cover designs for the Francophone market, including work on a number of famous English crime writers.

More here, at a blog dedicated to rounding up his work, from where a lot of the above images originated.

These are great covers--and, I must confess, occasionally my "objectiv" is also a "pub."

Floc'h never worked with Hergé.

Damn! That's what comes of trusting Wikipedia. Thanks for the correction--I'll fix the post.
