Sorry for the break--illness of a particularly irritating and boring kind has got in the way. But in the meantime the rest of the upcoming Vintage Classics UK James Bond covers have emerged. I'm still not convinced, but I must admit they're growing on me. Here's the complete set.
Some, like Thunderball and The Spy Who Loved Me, seem just right, while I feel as though others aren't quite there yet. What do you think?

wonderful type play. It's hard to do bond without being kitsch. I think many of these walk a fine line. I also like that there is no overt "sex" to it all. And no guns!
Anyone know the name of the designer ?
Agree with you Ian, great type job!
I agree regarding the type, and think they would make a lovely set of posters too. These are really growing on me more and more!
I have to say I actually really like them. They have a nice 60s feel to them without being too in-your-face retro/kitsch.
Apparently they're by a mix of designers, according to this: http://www.thebookbond.com/2012/05/full-set-of-ian-fleming-vintage-classic.html
That site also explains why they chose not to include the author name on the covers.
Are these a joke? This is absolutely awful. Looks like a Kindergartener did them. And not a talented one.
Ugh! Right in the groin!
Thanks Adam. If you want to look at bigger pictures : http://blogs.lesinrocks.com/booketing/en-septembre-2012-james-bond-demenage/
