One Book, One Movie, One Picture

A sort of postscript to the books versus films post--although multiple books using the one stock cover image is fairly common, you don't often see the same thing happening on books and movie posters (except for tie-in editions, obviously). Presumably this is because movies ought to have their own vast array of images to draw on, without having to resort to stock. Still, it does hapen, oddly enough.

 

Promisingly, The Abducted was written by Alan Smithee, the name used by people who want to disown their work.
