Despatches from Rosenworld
I have just come across the work of a type designer and graphic artist called Laurie Rosenwald, having been attracted by the wonderful title to her new book, All the Wrong People Have Self-Esteem.
She has produced two other books: the New York Note Book and And to Name Just a Few, a children's book.

i love the typography on all of these. So irreverant and unstructured... That frist cover is nice. It all ends up feeling very childish which is refreshing...
They're great: so cheerful and eye-catching.
My three year old son loves the rhyming text in the colors book and can repeat pretty much the whole thing verbatim. I love that it's so inventive and fun to look at *and* read!
(When you take off the dustjacket, there's a caption on the back of the book itself that says, "Where's the cover? Where'd it go? Does it matter? Don't think so!")
That's so cool! I love hidden "treats" like that on books.
