Tapping

Not much to say about this one, other than it's really nice: simple, striking and spot-on. From Pantheon in the US, designer as yet unknown: is Paul Sahre. The bottom image is stolen from Peter Mendelsund's blog, where he talks more about the design.

    Actually took me a second to get it, I think because the interference of the word against the dot pattern stopped me seeing the dots as part of an object for a second or two. That experience, that mental click, is a lot like the experience of hearing a joke's punchline and suddenly getting it. Excellent.
